Education Executive EdExec Live ICT Matters Independent Executive

Bigger, brighter and better

Released 31/08/2010

Education Executive returns from our summer break with a fresh look, great new articles and a whole new supplement magazine to help kick start your new school year

The artist formerly known as Prince, or even the symbol that he later became, would be the first to tell you that sometimes an image needs freshening up in order to stay relevant and interesting. Education Executive is no different and we have got a vibrant new look to the magazine for you to look forward to when it hits your desk this month.

We will still be bringing you the most interesting best practice interviews with exceptional school business managers from around the country, but we will also be bringing you new case studies which showcase specific work being undertaken on school improvement projects.

There are new sections for you to explore as we expand our editorial offering in line with the expanding remit of your work. In Education Executive Secondary, Our regular diarists will still be providing you the view from their desk, although with exciting new developments for both Stephen Morales, whose school became an Academy, and Maria Morris, who has taken up a role of vice principal (resources) in Taunton, there will be plenty for them to discuss.

There is also a new section for the Primary title, with the introduction of Five Minutes Break, where you can read about the Secret Lives of fellow business managers, or write in (editor@edexec.co.uk) with an insight into your hobbies and interests for the chance to win £20 in vouchers so you can treat your staff to some luxury biscuits, or maybe just indulge yourself with a bottle of bubbly!

Another major new development for the magazine is the introduction of a whole new supplement magazine, ICT Matters. With all the developments in the world of ICT in schools, we are bringing you a complete magazine with all the latest developments in technology, best practice case studies, and all the technology that we love. We even have our own in-house Techno Geek who will be answering your questions every month and giving you the lowdown from the world of Twitter, where @edexec recently surpassed 3,000 followers.

ICT Matters will be available to all Ed Exec subscribers, so make sure your subscription is up to date so that you never miss an issue. Why not treat your ICT manager to some cost effective CPD by encouraging them to sign up too for the new supplement. For any subscription requests or questions, just email us on subscriptions@intelligentmedia.co.uk

And why not let us know what you think of the new look magazine. Our new editor Julia Dennison is waiting to hear from you, so drop her a note on editor@edexec.co.uk. We look forward to hearing from you.
