Council only to be supplied with British meat

Schools in Anglesey will only receive British meat after complaints that they were being sold Belgian beef.

Cooks at 11 schools in the county complained after being given the foreign meat.

The food supplier for the county said that it will only be supplying fresh British meat after the complaints.

The council took action after receiving complaints from both cooks and headteachers.
