Promethean goes mobile!

Promethean, a world leader in the rapidly growing global market for interactive learning technology, announces the launch of its new ActivBoard 387 Pro interactive whiteboard Mobile System, providing educators with powerful new ways of teaching.
The exciting new addition to Promethean's ActivClassroom is the first in a new line of modular, upgradable stands designed for the education market to be introduced towards the end of 2010.
The new all-in-one mobile system gives educators the option to bring the lesson to the student, wherever and whenever needed.
The system incorporates an EST (extreme short throw) projector which features a 6,000 hour expected lamp life - an industry first. The EST projector is positioned approximately 41.8cm from the board which significantly reduces shadow and improves a class' view of the board. And, at only 28dB, it is also the quietest available on the market today.
Other future-proof technology features include; 3D projection, Creston enabled Roomview Management and HDMI connection options to provide the highest quality signal for audio and video in a single cable.

The heavy-duty lockable wheeled ActivBoard Mobile System is easy to move and can be electronically raised or lowered.
The new system also comes with a range of optional accessories to facilitate lockable storage of a laptop and school equipment. Following requests from the Promethean Planet community, which has over 600,000 members, the design team has also incorporated a double sided dry-erase whiteboard offering extra writing and display space.
